“Longview surprised me in the best way possible.  Moving from a large metroplex, I was impressed and excited about the amenities offered here.  Options are endless for restaurants, entertainment and relaxation!”

Macie Wyers

“Longview is a welcoming, energetic community with plenty of options for eating, entertainment and outdoor activities. Our community has proven to be a great place to live, work, and raise a family. The area has much to offer, plus the bonus of being centrally located between Shreveport, LA and Dallas, TX. Another added benefit is the great industrial base we can boast about. As the HR Supervisor with Nucor Steel we hire and attract people with integrity, values, and leadership qualities that want a lifelong career.”

Kimberly Powell

Human Resources Supervisor, Nucor Steel Longview, LLC

“I’ve lived in Longview all of my life except for my college years.  Longview has always been home to me.  It’s where my family is and a great place to raise my son.  The family friendly environment is like none other.  A place that’s not too big or too small.  It’s a place you can retire and not have the hustle and bustle of a large city.  We have the same restaurants, movies, etc.  We are close to Dallas, Shreveport, and Houston if you want a weekend getaway!  You too would love the family friendly environment that Longview provides.  There’s resources galore and the Chamber does a great job with making sure it’s available to everyone!
